Slovenian Actuarial Association

History and background
The Slovenian Actuarial Association was founded on January 30, 1997 at a meeting in Kranj . In addition to ensuring that the actuaries are adequately qualified to take on their professional tasks, the organization represents the interests of its members on a national and international level and is particularly active in lobbying. For this purpose, the association is a member of the European Actuarial Association (EAA) and the International Actuarial Association (IAA).
According to the information on the association's website, 80 members were organized in the association at the end of 2014, 60 of them fully trained.
