The Småkovane (Norwegian for small sleeping chambers ) are two mountain basins in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land, separated by a narrow ridge . In the Mühlig-Hofmann Mountains they are on the northeast side of the Breplogen .
Norwegian cartographers, who also named them, mapped them on the basis of aerial photographs and measurements of the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960).
