The Smith Heights are hills in the eastern part of the Darwin Mountains of the Transantarctic Mountains in East Antarctic Victoria Land . They are the highest points in the tangle of mountains between Kennett Ridge and Junction Spur .
Scientists in a 1962-1963 campaign by Victoria University's Antarctic Expeditions in New Zealand mapped and named them. Name giver is G. J. Smith, a participant of the research trip.
