The Smithy Beck is a watercourse in Cumbria , England .

The Smithy Beck arises as Hare Gill south of the Cogra Moss at Saddler's Knott, it flows in a westerly direction and becomes the Leaps Beck north of the Kelton Fell. He crosses under a street and turns north with the name Smaithwaite Beck . Upon reaching the A5088, which it passes under, it becomes Smithy Beck. Shortly before its mouth with the Scallow Beck, it turns west.
