The Smochevo Cove (English; Bulgarian залив Смочево saliw Smotschewo ) is a 1.6 km wide and 850 m long bay on the northwest coast of Low Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located south of Cape Wallace and the two islands Zebil Island and Glumche Island and north of Fernandez Point .
British scientists mapped it in 2009. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2013 after the town of Smochevo in western Bulgaria .
