The Smokinya Cove (English; Bulgarian залив Смокиня saliw Smokinja ) is a 2.2 km long and 3.5 km wide bay on the south coast of the Trinity Peninsula at the tip of the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located north of Azimuth Hill on the Prince Gustav Canal .
German and British scientists carried out their mapping in 1996. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2010 after the resort of Smokinja near Sozopol in southeastern Bulgaria .
