The Smooth Rock Lake is a lake in Thunder Bay District in the western Canadian province of Ontario .
The ramified lake is located in Wabakimi Provincial Park . It has an area of about 97 km² and is at an altitude of 351 m . The lake is fed in the east by the Caribou River , the outflow of the neighboring Caribou Lake . Furthermore, Smoothrock Lake receives water from Wabakimi Lake , which flows into it via Lower Wabakimi Lake . In the northwest, the Berg River drains Smoothrock Lake to the Ogoki River .
The remote Smoothrock Lake is usually reached by seaplane. The types of fish caught in the lake include eyeglasses , pike and American arctic char .
