The Snake Lake ( English for snake lake ) is a lake on the Ingrid Christensen coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth Land . It is in the Vestfold Mountains .
The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named it in 1983 after the striking, serpentine moraine on its north bank.
