Social Mobile Analytics Cloud (mostly descriptive Social , Mobile , Analytics and (and) Cloud or named with the acronym SMAC ) stands for the trends in information technology identified with it. The summary of these four topics into a trend begins in 2010.

Abbreviated form of cloud computing (meaning: working in the "cloud", i.e. an unspecified remote storage facility; networks are often represented with the pictogram of a cloud ), represents a change in the provision of IT services, which is characterized by a location- and device-independent flexible use and is therefore particularly suitable for the use of several different end devices with common central data storage.
