Society for American Archeology
The Society for American Archeology (SAA) is an international organization of professional archaeologists . The Society for American Archeology was founded in 1934 and is dedicated to the research and preservation of the archaeological heritage of the American double continent . Today it has more than 7,000 members.
Publications
The SAA publishes a number of different publications and books through the SAA Press . This includes the quarterly journals American Antiquity and Latin American Antiquity as well as the quarterly digital journal Advances In Archaeological Practice and the SAA Archaeological Record, a five-yearly magazine .
