The Sodtkestraße is a Berlin street in the district of Prenzlauer Berg of Pankow , whose development in the years 1928-1930, designed by Bruno Taut and Franz Hillinger union-cooperative as Carl Legien Housing Estate (named after the German union leader Carl Legien ) was built. The street got its current name after the German resistance fighter Arthur Sodtke . It is located east of Prenzlauer Allee and extends parallel to it between Küsel and Georg-Blank-Straße.

The street is now a listed building . In 1994, the renovation of the building in accordance with the requirements of historical monuments began and the original plaster and paintwork were restored. In July 2008, the entire residential city was included in the UNESCO list of world cultural heritage as one of six Berlin Modernist settlements .
