Soeren Oliver Voigt

Soeren Oliver Voigt (born August 8, 1969 ) is a German football official . He is the managing director of 1. FC Kaiserslautern Management GmbH , the managing general partner of 1. FC Kaiserslautern GmbH & Co KGaA.

Life

Voigt studied Mental Philosophy at the University of Edinburgh and graduated with a Master of Arts degree .

Career as a football official

Voigt had been with Eintracht Braunschweig since January 15, 2001 , initially until 2008 as managing director of Eintracht-Marketing GmbH, after the spin-off of the professional football department of the newly founded Eintracht Braunschweig Management GmbH, the managing general partner of Eintracht Braunschweig GmbH & Co KGaA. On January 31, 2019, Voigt's contract was terminated at Eintracht Braunschweig at his instigation.

On December 3, 2019, Voigt was appointed the new managing director of 1. FC Kaiserslautern Management GmbH, the managing general partner of 1. FC Kaiserslautern GmbH & Co KGaA, where he replaced Michael Klatt and Martin Bader and henceforth for the commercial and sporting areas responsible for.

Between 2016 and 2018 Voigt was also a member of the Presidium of the German Football League and a member of the board of the German Football Association .
