The Sofanyama Bridge (other spellings: Sofaniama Bridge and Sofa Nyama Bridge as well as Pakali-Ba Bridge ) is a road bridge in the West African state of Gambia . The approximately 50 meter long bridge spans the Sofaniama Bolong near Pakali Ba and crosses the South Bank Road . The Sofaniama Bolong also represents the boundary between the Lower River Region and the Central River Region .
In 2006 it was reported that the bridge was in poor condition.
