Solar circuit is a nine-member Austrian pop - band from Graz .

history

Solarkreis was founded in 2015 by the brothers Hartmut and Bertram Pollhammer and Michael Fritz, who already played together in the band Irie Rocker Allstars . In June 2015 the band released the single Kumm with kumm aussi , with which they made it to number 28 in the Austrian single charts.

In November 2015, the second single Vergiss mein nicht followed , which reached number 27 in the Austrian single charts. The remix of Vergiss mein nicht by the Austrian DJ DualXess made it into the DJ Charts Austria. The single Fliagn was able to build on the chart success and stayed in the sales charts in Austria for five weeks.

In 2017 the two EPs Mit Dir und Für Immer will follow , which contain remixes by DualXess and DJ Ostkurve !

In April 2018 the single ZRUCK ZU DIR was released, which is regarded as a harbinger for the album FLIAGN .

On July 18, 2018, Solarkreis achieved gold status in Austria with the single Fliagn . In autumn 2018, the single Egal wos kummt was released , which reached the top 40 of the charts in Austria and Germany. In summer 2019, the second gold record for the single Vergiss Mein nicht followed.

Solarkreis works with the Austrian producer Alexander Kahr .

style

Musically, Solarkreis can be assigned to pop. The band sings their songs in the Styrian dialect . The sound is characterized by modern synths, brass and danceable rhythms.
