Solarlux is a manufacturer of construction elements from Melle in Lower Saxony and the world market leader for folding glass walls . The company was founded in Olpe in 1983 and relocated to Melle in 2016. Of the 800 employees in 2019, around 700 were employed at the headquarters. According to Solarlux, the company's products are exported to over 60 countries and used by well-known architects such as Daniel Libeskind . The main sales markets abroad are the United States, the Netherlands and England.

Solarlux products are used in residential buildings for pool glazing or as a balcony partition and are used in commercial buildings in entrance areas and as room dividers. In football stadiums, box seats are separated from the interior with Solarlux folding walls.
