The Reckahn solar park is an open-air photovoltaic system in Brandenburg , which was built in 2010/11 on a fallow industrial park north of Reckahn in the municipality of Kloster Lehnin . It has a total output of 37.8 MWp and was planned by Belectric .
The solar park was built in three construction phases and extends over an area of approx. 98 ha. 487,200 thin-film solar modules from First Solar were used , the inverters are from SMA Solar Technology . The annual standard work capacity should correspond to the average electricity consumption of around 10,400 average households, which should save 28,000 tons of carbon dioxide annually.
