Soldier's Medal

The Soldier's Medal (German soldier medal ) is a military award of the Army of the United States . It was introduced as Section 11 of the Air Corps Act , which the US Congress passed on July 2, 1926. The criteria for the award of the medal are:

"The Soldier's Medal is awarded to any person in the United States Army or a friendly nation who, in the exercise of his service in the United States Army, shows heroic conduct without contact with the enemy ." (Army Regulation 600-8-22 ).

The Soldier 's Medal is considered equivalent to the Navy and Marine Corps Medal , Airman's Medal, and Coast Guard Medal .
