Soledad Bravo
Soledad Bravo (born January 1, 1943 in Logroño , Spain ) is an important Latin American singer.
At the age of seven she came to Venezuela , where her parents emigrated for political reasons. She studied architecture at the Universidad Central de Venezuela . There she was discovered by the journalist Sofía Ímber . Her repertoire is shaped by her revolutionary outlook. Among other things, her interpretation of the song hasta siempre, comandante , which the Cuban composer Carlos Puebla composed in memory of Che Guevara , is known.
