Solem Ridge is a snowy, curved, 1,800 m high and 6 km long mountain ridge in the Palmerland on the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises 16 km north-northeast of Mount Jackson .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it in 1974. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1976 after Lieutenant Lynn D. Solem of the United States Navy , a physician at the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station in 1972.
