Solomon Zeitlin

Solomon Zeitlin ( Hebrew שְׁלֹמֹה צײטלין, Russian Шломо Цейтлин / Shlomo Cejtlin , also Tseitlin, Tseytlin ; born 31 May 1892 in Tschaschniki in the government of Vitebsk , Russian Empire ; died December 28, 1976 , Philadelphia ) was an American rabbi , historian, and academic teacher.

He was also known for claiming - against all of his academic colleagues - that the Dead Sea Scrolls were not from pre-Christian times, but much more recent.
