The SolterPolter - Squat was an occupied property in Bern's Marziliquartier .
The factory building of the former Metallic Soltermann was established in July 1997 by the "Sputnik squatters group" from the environment of the riding school of Bern taken possession and served to demolition in the spring of 2002, both as living room as well as a venue for punk concerts.
From 1999 the property came increasingly in the sights of local neo-Nazi groups . In February 1999, a group of thugs attacked the residents who were present. A second attack in August of the same year was able to be repulsed, but the building was fired on during the night using "pump action" . In July 2000, over a hundred assault rifle shots were fired at the property. The perpetrators of the assault rifle attack could be identified and were convicted in October 2001.
