The judo competitions of the 1967 Summer Universiade took place from August 27 to September 4 in the Japanese capital Tokyo . It was the first time this sport was held at the Student World Games and was then temporarily removed from the program. The competitions were dominated by the local athletes who won gold medals in each weight class.
