Song Shiji (born October 18, 1964 in Jilin Province ) is a former Chinese cross-country skier .

Career

Shiji started internationally for the first time at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Oslo in 1982 . There she took 57th place over 5 km and 55th place over 10 km. At the Olympic Winter Games in Sarajevo in 1984 , she won 52nd place over 5 km and 10 km and 12th place with the relay. The following year she ran at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Seefeld in Tyrol on 58th place over 5 km and 55th place over 10 km. In early March 1986 she won the bronze medal in the 10 km freestyle and the gold medal with the relay at the Winter Asian Games in Sapporo . At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Lahti in 1989 she came in 51st place over 10 km freestyle, 49th place over 10 km classic, 43rd place over 30 km freestyle and 39th place over 15 km classic. She completed her last international race at the 1990 Asian Winter Games in Sapporo. There she won the silver medal with the relay.
