Songavatn is the name of a reservoir in Norway . It is located in the municipality of Vinje ( Vestfold og Telemark ). The lake is located south of the Hardangervidda National Park . There are two dams, Trolldalsdammen and Songadammen . The water surface varies between 974 and 939 meters. The lake is the water reservoir for the Songa hydropower plant . The hydropower plant was built in 1964, has a head of 287 m, an installed capacity of 120 MW and an annual production of 575 GWh .
