Sonja Kling

Sonja Kling (* 1971 in Meschede ) is a German cabaret artist , actress and author .

Career

After graduating from high school, Kling studied art history and archeology at the Free University of Berlin and at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität in Bonn.

From 1999 to 2002 she trained as an actress at the ARTURO drama school in Cologne . Additional workshops with Peter Shub and Leo Bassi enabled appearances as a comedian . The first live appearances followed in 2001. a. in the WDR series NightWash .

From 2004 to 2010, Kling worked alongside Ecco Meineke , Michael Morgenstern and Thomas Wenke as a member of the Munich Lach- und Schießgesellschaft ensemble . During that time four productions were played. At the anniversary program is extended to the 50th anniversary of Kling was the first time working as a co-author.

In Christchurch , New Zealand , Kling developed and played the cabaret show The Traveling Brain Show together with her husband, actor and producer John Hudson from 2010 to 2011 . After her return to Germany, Kling was involved in numerous cabaret productions as an actor and author.

In 2017, Kling became known to a larger audience through her appearance in the 31st episode of the series Die Anstalt about the neoliberal Mont Pèlerin Society .

Sonja Kling lives with her husband in Cologne.
