Sonja Polligkeit

Sonja Polligkeit (born December 16, 1977 in Esslingen am Neckar ) is a filmmaker , author and musician who lives in Berlin .

Career

Sonja Polligkeit studied art history, rhetoric and screenwriting at the University of Tübingen at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (dffb) .

Feature films, documentaries, plays, social spots and prose are part of her repertoire. In addition to working for screen and screen, she has theater and stage experience at Kampnagel and in the Thalia Theater Nachtasyl. Her films have so far been shown in Europe and Canada, for example at the Edinburgh Film Festival, the Montreal Film Festival, the NexT Film Festival Bucharest and the Vienna Independent Shorts .

In addition to her cinematic work, Polligkeit also appears as a musician and composer. On July 7th, 2017 the Cologne label Karaoke Kalk released Sonja Polligkeit's song Agora Fica on the sampler "Jeff Özdemir & Friends Vol. 2". In addition to collaborations with other musicians, Sonja Polligkeit founded her solo project “La Polligkeit” in 2015.
