Sophie Beier

Johanna Auguste Sophie Beier , b. Möller, (born December 27, 1870 in Hamburg ; † February 2, 1917 there ) was a German writer .

Life

Beier was born in Hamburg in 1870 as the daughter of master carpenter Diederich Johann Wilhelm Möller, where she spent her childhood and youth. In 1891 she married the businessman Ernst Beier. The marriage, which ended in divorce in 1908, had two children.

Beier published literary sketches from 1896 in the Hamburg literary weekly newspaper. The works Papa , Too Late and My Brother were published . The sheet also printed various poems by Beier. A collection of poems appeared in print in 1896 under the title Herzensklänge .
