Sophus Bauditz

Sophus Gustav Bauditz (born October 23, 1850 in Aarhus , † August 16, 1915 in Copenhagen ) was a Danish pedagogue, author and playwright. He was a Knight of the Order of the Dannebrog appointed and received the Medal of Merit of the Order of the Dannebrog (Dannebrogordenens Hæderstegn).

Life

Bauditz was the son of the Danish officer Peter Gustav Bauditz (1815–1877) and came from the Danish branch of the Baudissin family . One of his father's brothers was Peter von Bauditz . He studied law, later education, and was then a teacher at the cadet school. In addition to comedies, he published a number of short stories.
