The Archie Griffin Award is an award given by the Touchdown Club of Columbus since 1999 to the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the past college football season. It is named after Archie Griffin , the only player to date to have won the Heisman Trophy twice. The award consists of a specially manufactured ring and is one of the few awards that is only given after the Bowl Championship Series has ended .
