Sorbian violin are two different sized box necklace noisy called with three strings, the Sorbs in their folk music use. The small version is called małe husle in Sorbian and the large version is called wulke husle .

On the one hand, there is the large violin , which is about 60 centimeters long. It is used in the Catholic area of Lausitz . On the other hand, the Sorbs also have a small violin, which is called a wedding violin. The small violin is only used in the area around Runde in central Lusatia. The musicians only play on it at weddings and only when accompanied by a Sorbian bagpipe . In general, the Sorbs no longer use traditional instruments these days, but there are ensembles in which musicians play copies of such Sorbian violins.
