It lies at an altitude of about 1470 m above sea level on the right bank of the upper reaches of the Kofarnihon , which is also alternatively referred to as "Sorwo" on this section. The village is located in the area under the administration of the city of Wahdat , which in turn belongs to the Nohijahoi tobei dschumhurij , the "districts subordinate to the republic".
