Sosos was a Greek mosaic artist who probably worked at Pergamon during the time of the Attalids .

His famous work with the four drinking or sunbathing pigeons was located there on the edge of a water vessel made of natural stones. A Roman replica is in the Capitoline Museum in Rome . The work is dated to the 2nd century BC. Chr. Dated.

Another famous and preserved mosaic is the ἀσάρωτος οἶκος ( asárotos oíkos "unsweetened house"), which Pliny nat. 36,184 mentioned.
