Sosthènes III. François Marie Constantin de La Rochefoucauld (born June 26, 1897 in Paris , † October 20, 1970 in Bonnétable ) was a French nobleman and racing driver .

Career

Sosthènes de la Rochefcoucauld came from the noble family La Rochefoucauld and was twice at the start in the 24 Hours of Le Mans . In his debut race in 1923 , he drove a Bugatti Brescia 16S and, together with his compatriot Max de Pourtalès, finished tenth in the overall standings. In 1928 he retired from the wheel of an Alphi after 45 laps.
