Soul control

Soul Control is a German musician duo consisting of Thomas "Tom" Quella (* 1980 in Berlin ) and Leonard "Leo" Buck (* 1979 in Sierra Leone ).

Career

They gained fame through their single Chocolate (Choco Choco) , published in 2004 , which made it into the top five of the charts in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and was published in over 40 countries. The single was sold over 170,000 times in Germany alone.

Tom and Leo met in 1999 at a concert by Leo's then band Moddeling Throu. Together with Bruce Hammond both the song Chocolate and the following album Here we go were produced. In 2004 they were part of the Toggo Tour. In 2007 they worked with Gerald Anderson on the song Don't Play with Your Noodle . This was also released on the album Gerlads Noodle Dance . In 2019 they released another single after a long break.

Chocolate has been covered and parodied by various musicians. Including Spongebob (chocolate) or The Smurfs (Smurf's bike).
