Sound Mountain Sessions -

Sound Mountain Sessions is an EP released in 2012 by the US hard rock band Lynch Mob .

History of origin

In 2009, Lynch Mob recorded and released the critically acclaimed Smoke and Mirrors album , but it received little attention and was not particularly successful commercially. For this recording, the band had decided not to follow any specific direction. With the recordings for Sound Mountain Sessions this project was put into practice: The songs were created out of jams , so they were more or less developed and recorded from spontaneous ideas.

The drums were played by guitarist, singer and drummer Chris Collier, who lives in a cave in the mountains of Leona Valley in Southern California and was recommended to the group by locals when they were looking for a sound engineer to record.
