Emergence

During the making of the album, the band struggled with several problems. First the guitarist Glenn Svensson left the band for private reasons. He was replaced by Joachim Lindbäck. There were delays, so The Duskfall only had four weeks instead of the five weeks they had booked. In addition, a friend of guitarist Mikael Sandorf, who suffered from depression , committed suicide .

The album was recorded in the Dug-Out Studios in Uppsala . Produced source of Daniel Berg beach, Örjan Örnkloo and the band. Bergstrand also did the mastering .

Popp awarded nine out of ten points for the album. Pedro Azevedo from the online magazine Chronicles of Chaos, however, criticized the fact that the album only contained two “outstanding songs” with Striving to Have Nothing and Not a Good Sign , and awarded seven out of ten points.
