Source is a work of art by the Bulgarian-French artist Elena Paroucheva in the municipality of Amnéville-les-Thermes in France . The monumental installation of four-color painted Ultra high voltage - pylons was from August to December 2003 on behalf of the French transmission system operator RTE built and inaugurated on February 17 of 2004.

The installation, which costs around 350,000 euros, is attached to two 28-meter and two 34-meter high delta masts of the 225 kV Amnéville – Montois overhead line . It consists of 3284 m of steel cables, 2708 m of tether ropes, 525 m of plastic tubing, 576 m of stainless steel pipes and 40 spotlights.

The masts stand on the Rue de l'Europe for a distance of more than 1.2 km and symbolize in detail:

  • Mast No. 10 (28 m high): Source - light
  • Mast No. 11 (28 m high): Source - water
  • Mast No. 12 (34 m high): Source - Energy
  • Mast No. 13 (34 m high): Source - Flame
