The South Cove ( English for South Bay ) is a small bay on the east side of the Adelaide Island west of the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located on the south side of Rothera Point in the immediate vicinity of the British Rothera station .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1979.
