The South Stream (English for Südstrom ) is a meltwater river on the Scott coast of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises 3 km southwest of Marble Point from the front of the Wilson Piedmont Glacier and flows south to Bernacchi Bay .

The American geologist Robert Leslie Nichols (1904-1995) examined it on behalf of the United States Navy between 1957 and 1958. Nichols named it so because it is located south of some of the facilities built by the Navy at the time.
