The Wilson Piedmont Glacier is a foreland glacier on the Scott Coast of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It extends from Granite Harbor to Marble Point .
He was discovered by participants in the Discovery Expedition (1901-1904) led by the British polar explorer Robert Falcon Scott . It is named after Edward Wilson (1872–1912), surgeon and illustrator of the expedition, who died together with Scott and three companions as part of the Terra Nova Expedition (1910–1913) on the way back from the South Pole to the base camp.
