Die Soziale Praxis , formerly: Sociale Praxis , was a sociopolitical weekly newspaper with social reform goals that emerged in 1895 from the Sozialpolitisches Centralblatt . It was published by Heymanns in Berlin until 1898 and by Duncker & Humblot in Leipzig from 1899 to 1910 , then by Gustav Fischer Verlag in Jena. In 1943 the magazine was discontinued under pressure from the National Socialists .

The social practice was the amalgamation of two previously published journals, namely the Socialpolitisches Centralblatt , edited by Heinrich Braun , and the Blätter für sociale Praxis , which were published from 1893 to 1895 by Nathanael Brückner . Every month it contained the supplement “Das Gewerbegericht ”, the organ of the Association of German Commercial Courts .

The publisher of the social practice was initially Ignaz Jastrow , editor Ernst Francke , from 1923 to 1933 it was headed by Frieda Wunderlich . Eduard Bernstein and Ludwig Preller should be mentioned as important employees .
