Social Systems is the title of a biannual specialist journal which, according to the publisher, focuses on the interface between systems theory and sociological theory. The published articles are predominantly in the sociological tradition of Niklas Luhmann's Die Zeitschrift was published from 1995 to 2016 by Lucius & Lucius , which was taken over by Walter de Gruyter in 2016 . Editors are: Dirk Baecker , Cornelia Bohn ( University of Lucerne ), William Rasch ( Indiana University , Bloomington), Urs Stäheli ( University of Basel ) and Rudolf Stichweh (as of 2013).
