The club's soccer team played in the then second-highest division of the Rhineland State League in the 1950/51 season .
In the 2003/04 season and until the 2005/06 season, the club played in the district league B Mayen . From the 2007/08 season, the team then joined a syndicate with SV Eintracht Eich and SV Kell in the district league center . After the 2011/12 season, however, the team rose from bottom of the table with only 17 points. In the following season the SG found itself in the district league A again, in which the eighth place was achieved in the end. Already in the 2013/14 season, with the championship title, he was promoted to the district league center again for the next season, in which, however, he was immediately relegated to last place. Due to the 12th place in the season 2016/17 the District League A, we went to the next season then even further down to the Kreisliga B . From which with the championship title but also the immediate rise again succeeded. Thus, the club has been playing in the district league A since the 2018/19 season .
