history
On March 8, 1861, the mayor Friedrich Richter received permission to set up a community savings bank. Two main areas of responsibility for Sparkasse Lambach were defined in the deed of incorporation. The savings bank should serve the promotion, support and further development of the region and promote the development of the regional and social infrastructure. In addition to the economic mandate, social competence (charitable status) should represent the second essential task of Sparkasse Lambach.
