The Spartan Glacier is a short valley glacier on the east coast of the West Antarctic Alexander I Island . It is between the Callisto Cliffs and the Tombaugh Cliffs .

The British Directorate of Overseas Surveys mapped it together with the United States Geological Survey using satellite images from NASA . The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1974 after The Spartans dog sled team who went up the glacier in 1969.
