Spetsopoula ( Greek Σπετσοπούλα ( f. Sg. )) Is a small Greek island. It belongs to the group of the Saronic Islands .
The island is located southeast of Spetses . The island, which administratively belongs to the municipality of Spetses, is owned by the Niarchos family . It is densely forested.
The 2001 census counted eight permanent residents.
The island became famous after Evjenia Niarchos, the wife of the shipowner Stavros Niarchos , was found dead in the house on Spetsopoula on May 4, 1970 . She is buried on the island.
