Game (pedagogy)
In education are games , as opposed to the free games , often from GM promoted the development process. In principle, all games can be educational games if they are used specifically for encouragement . Among other things, the psychotherapeutic department of play therapy is developing the theoretical basis for this.
As a rule, educational games are understood to mean special, methodically structured games that are used in a wide variety of situations with very different objectives.
So-called learning games are often used by teachers and lecturers to loosen up and practice learning units in lessons . Singing games, circle games and finger games are already performed in kindergarten to practice dexterity, comprehension of quantities and musical sensitivity .
Speech therapists use special language games to diagnose and treat speech defects in children. And last but not least, role-playing games are one of the most important tools in social education .
Another division distinguishes between group games , warm-ups , simulation games and role-playing games .
