Characters
- Ayumu Narumi
- Ayumu Narumi is the main character of this anime. He is very talented and can play the piano like Eyes Rutherford. Still, he doesn't believe in himself and thinks that his brother Kiyotaka is better than himself in everything. He lives with his missing brother's wife, Madoka Narumi, and is also very good at cooking. Ayumu is still going to school, along with his schoolmate Hiyono Yuizaki. She also helps him clear up the cases.
- Hiyono Yuizaki
- Like Ayumu, Hiyono still goes to school. She is his best friend and helps wherever she can. Of course, she also participates in the cases that he has to clarify and is always at his side.
- Hiyono believes in Ayumu and knows that he is very good. She wants him to play the piano, but Ayumu is less interested in it. Sometimes she also sings a song that she wrote herself.
- Otherwise she is very open-minded and always happy.
- Eyes Rutherford
- Eyes Rutherford is one of the Blade Children and also a very famous pianist. He plays the piano very often and gives concerts. But he didn't always do that voluntarily. When he was five years old, his mother forced him to play the piano. Eyes is a very calm guy and doesn't reveal much of his feelings. His best friend is Cannon, whom he has known since childhood and trusted until he became a hunter.
- Eyes is the first to put Ayumu before some kind of test.
- Cannon Hilbert
- Cannon is the last of the Blade Children in the anime. Still, he's the only one who doesn't believe Kiyotaka's words. That's why he betrays the other Blade Children. He only tells Eyes because he doesn't want anything to happen to him. Cannon has two faces. On the one hand he is quite friendly and especially fond of cats, but on the other hand he can also kill brutally. Because he later works as a hunter, he starts to hunt the Blade Children and "falls out" with his friend Eyes.
- Kousuke Asazuki
- Kousuke is also one of the Blade Children. He can get angry very quickly, but he is always nice to his friends and cares about them. Kousuke also kills in cold blood those who know of her curse. He also goes to school with Rio and Ryoko. Kousuke is also in love with ryoko. It seems that the two have known each other for a long time.
- Rio Takeuchi
- Rio is also one of the Blade Children. At first glance, she looks like a small child, but that is deceptive. She is just as brutal as Kousuke and tries everything to win the "Games".
- Rio also goes to school and makes bombs on the side, which she uses regularly. She also particularly likes melons, which she always gets from Eyes.
- Ryoko Takamachi
- Ryoko is also one of the Blade Children and always tries to help. Still, she's the only one who doesn't kill because she's strictly against it. Ryoko is very athletic and often trains. No details are known about her, only that something traumatic happened in her past.
- Often times she's pretty mean to Kousuke, but in fact she really likes him.
- Hizumi Mizushiro
- Hizumi is the opposite of Ayumu, so to speak. He embodies the devil's brother, if not the devil himself. Hizumi only appears in the manga and is not mentioned in the anime. He is able to kill someone without hesitation (which will also be found out later). After his appearance it is rumored whether he is really brother of Yaiba, the creator of all Blade Chidren, or even twin brother or something else.
- He cannot be killed by anyone except Ayumu Narumi.
groups
- Hunter
- Hunter are the people who hunt down and then kill the Blade Children. They try by all means because they think they have no right to live.
- Watcher
- The watchers are only mentioned in the manga. The Watchers belong to one of the three groups that used to belong to Yaiba's organization until Yaiba disappeared. Ultimately, the organization split into three groups. Hunter, Watcher and Saver. The watchers only concentrate on observing the Blade Children and gathering information. You are neutral.
- Saver
- The Savers also only appear in the manga and they are among those who are still for Yaiba. They want to create more Blade Children.
