The Spirit Lake is a lake in the southern part of the Yukon .

The lake is about 70 kilometers south of the city of Whitehorse near the towns of Lansdowne and Carcross . The body of water is right off the Klondike Highway . The crater-like hollows in the lake stem from the retreat of the glaciers from this area several thousand years ago.
