The Spokane Flyers were an American ice hockey franchise of the Pacific Hockey League based in Spokane , Washington .
history
The franchise was founded in 1978 as the Pacific Hockey League expansion team . The name Spokane Flyers had previously been used by numerous ice hockey teams from the city. In the 1978/79 season , the team took third place of the regular season, but the league was set while the game was still running. Then the Flyers also stopped the game. For the 1980/81 season, the team was replaced by a team of the same name from the Canadian Junior League Western Hockey League .
